It brings me joy to help individuals process the many challenges in life, whether facing those challenges head-on or taking them step by step to address specific problem areas. When in session, I meet clients where they are to help them navigate past or current life struggles. I am a former collegiate athlete who firmly believes in the power of a team to help face life challenges. Working side by side with individuals provides them the opportunity to consult and bounce ideas off other individuals who are familiar with their life experiences to overcome their current
challenges.
 

I was raised in Sioux Falls, SD, and was a student-athlete at the University of Sioux Falls where I completed my Undergraduate in Social Work. I later completed my graduate degree and earned a Master’s in Social Work at the University of South Dakota.

 

Some of my experience consists of working with children and adolescents in custody, outpatient psychiatric, addictions, and sports. I specialize in mental health care with trauma, adoption, foster care, anxiety, depression, addictions, and psychological sports performance. I work with all ages and use many therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Theraplay, Trust-Based Relational Interventions (TBRI), and attachment building techniques.
