Individual Therapy

We provide individual therapy for people of all ages with therapists experienced in a variety of clinical theories.

Reverence Counseling does not take a one-size-fits-all approach to counseling. We focus with each client on one of more of the following: exploring past experiences to better understand the impact on current experiences, focusing on mindfulness or awareness of emotions in the present, goal setting and tracking progress to achieve desired outcomes.

We work with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, addiction and more.

Addiction Services

We understand the impact of substance use can have on many areas of your life.

At Reverence Counseling, we perform substance use assessments and screenings. In addition, we will work with you to develop treatment-plan goals that meet your needs.

Often, mental health issues occur alongside or in conjunction with substance abuse, such as depression or anxiety. We use a multi-faceted approach to address co-occurring issues.

Marriage/Couples and Family Counseling

Within couples and families, individuals are part of a bigger system. Each person impacts and is impacted by everyone around them.

In couples and family counseling, we open the lines of communication to allow honest conversations about the impact each member has on the others. We help you learn effective ways to interact in those relationships.

Play Therapy

Play therapy can help children experience positive change in their life who struggle with family relationships, anxiety, ADHD, healthy expression of emotions, separation anxiety, ODD, aggression, trauma, and more. Play therapy helps children develop coping strategies, increase social skills, and problem-solving skills in a safe environment with a trained professional they can trust.

DBT Group

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based and practical counseling approach that equips clients with skills to effectively cope with hardship in life. DBT’s goal is to teach clients how to live in the moment, better tolerate distress, regulate emotions, and improve relationships with others. DBT has been successful in treating many mental health struggles, including Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Eating Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, non-suicidal self-injury, suicidal ideation, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, addiction, and ADHD.

DBT can be utilized in the group setting or on an individual basis. Group counseling is often preferred by clients and therapists because of its focus on validation and practicing skills during group. Clients are able to share about their struggles with utilizing skills and seek support from others who have experienced the same frustration. Reverence Counseling Services offers both adult and adolescent DBT groups led by trained DBT therapists.
